Q. mealy bugs control
I have mealy bugs on my gardinia bushes. I have been spraying with talstar that I purchased from you and even mixed it with dish washing soap as I understand that the bugs form a "waxy" protective film. This has been going on for about 6 months. It appears to be "controlled" but how do I get rid of them altogether. Do you have a product that would do that?
A.   Thank you for contacting us. The Merit 75 WP is a great product for lawn pests and ornamental pests just like mealybugs. If you have any further questions or comments, please feel free to contact us again.

Q. I have a strawberry farm where many people come to pick strawberries
I have a strawberry farm where many people come to pick strawberries. I know many of them eat the strawberries as they pick them, is it safe then to use the Merit 75 WP to treat my farm for insect control?
A.   It is not recommended, in your case, to use the Merit 75 WP especially because the customers do not wash off the Merit 75 WP before they consume the strawberries. We recommend that whatever edible plant you treated with Merit 75 WP, that you wash it thoroughly in running water before it is consumed by anyone.
